Lovely place near the sea (1 km) and wonderful view: the sea on one side and the volcano Etna on the other. Well located for visiting the cities on the east coast - Taormina and Syracuse are definitely worth a visit, while Messina and Catania are a little less. Villa Sciare Modo is super cozy, with chickens, cats and a nice pool. The family is very kind and helpful. We recommend it without any doubt.

Upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner. Excellent starting point for hiking, plus after a day out you can enjoy an evening dip in the pool.

We stayed in a three-room apartment inside the villa. It was clean, bright and spacious. From the balcony, on the south side (next to the "bedroom") you could see the sea, on the landing of the kitchen / dining room you could see the Etna and the beautiful sunsets. Photos and descriptions correspond to reality. The pool is large and very well maintained, and there are plenty of lounge chairs. The best part of the stay is that there were not many people, so the villa was quiet. We fully enjoyed the pool in peace. The villa and the garden around it are very well kept. We were very happy with our vacation.

It is difficult not to write a good review. The place is really nice and the host is nice and helpful. Nothing to say about the apartment, the swimming pool, etc. The only flaw is that the area is completely full of waste - and they are not only bags of waste but also whole furniture, a mattress and packaging, paper, plastic ... It is a real pity and incomprehensible that they do not clean. We did not regret the stay, because there is a beautiful view of Etna on one side and the sea on the other, but it is not a place where we will return again. A little paradise - right in the middle of a dump !!!

Nice and clean within the walls. Very friendly and welcoming owners but they only speak Italian. The apartments are well furnished and there is a nice kitchen with oven and fridge / freezer. View of Etna on one side and the sea on the other. We really felt welcome and had answers to all our questions. Definitely a place we will return to. Santa Tecla and Stazzo are within walking distance and there are excellent restaurants.

Super nice place, nice pool, close to everything, cozy town, everything is very well kept ... inside the gate. We were 4 adults and in the apartment there was everything needed for cooking and even a barbecue in the garden, the two beds in the living room were not suitable for two adults, so we lay on the floor. Very kind hosts, and you can pick fresh lemons in the garden.

We were three people in an apartment for 4, with a nice and large terrace. We were very happy with this place. The apartment met all our needs, and the garden and pool are very beautiful. The staff is fantastic. We can warmly recommend it. An excellent restaurant in the small port nearby. Schillichenti has good pizzerias and nice little shops.

Villa Sciare Modo is a perfect environment for our family of 8 adults and 6 children aged between 0 and 7 years. The apartments and the large common area where cooking and eating together are very well furnished. Everything is well equipped with everything you need. A beautiful swimming pool where young and old have spent most of the time. The beds were much more beautiful and comfortable than those shown in the picture. There is not a children's pool, but a small theater where even children aged 1-3 have had a great time. A magnificent view of Mount Etna, especially in the morning. The family is nice and helpful.
